Three things stopping women There are only three possible explanations for the lower numbers of women at the top level of these organizations.
Dani Moritz The Defense Department recently announced new policies that will open more than 14, military job opportunities to women.
Which seems like a great step—except that more thanpositions will still remain exclusive to men, from front-line infantry positions to high-level special operations roles. We asked women who have served in the armed forces how they feel about the decision, and their thoughts on what it will really take to achieve gender equality in the military.
Gender Equality, Job Equality Most of the women we spoke with strongly believe that the military should be like any other job field: All opportunities should be open to both men and women.
Critics, of course, have expressed concerns about women being able to do the job, particularly for front-line positions. There are fewer of what I would consider cool jobs out there because of the restrictions.
Windham describes a not-atypical scenario: And unfortunately, these worries are still all too well-founded. For Amanda Downs, who was a corporal in the Marines fromthis rationale is quite a valid reason for excluding women from certain positions.
Downs knows this because when she was in Military Operational Specialty School, she was raped. Down says that until we can get a better handle on these types of crimes, we simply will not be able to safely integrate women into positions like the infantry.
We can make a difference. Franke advises us to educate ourselves. You can support things like that. These policies affect real women—women who are dedicated enough to fight for our country and defend our rights on a daily basis.

As we battle against SJWs and their egregious positions, we have the habit of challenging them only for what they support. This is certainly necessary, but one thing we need to pay more attention to is who they do not support, who they deliberately ignore, and who never even crosses their minds.
These four groups do not form by any means an exhaustive list of the kicked around and forgotten. But, I h eard that “T E RF is a slur!”.
The “TERF is a slur” meme is a way for TERFs to simultaneously attack and dismiss critiques of their ideology and behavior. Recently, a cisgender feminist used the term TERF and was immediately attacked – not for the observations she actually made – but for daring to distinguish between radical feminists and TERFs.
It’s true in higher education, it’s true in law firms, it’s true in hospitals (it’s even true in monarchies!): women can get far, but they can’t get all the way to the top.. In . But for all I know, if people stop eating meat and adopt vegetarian ways, they could feed at least 10 times more people using the same efforts and energy. This is based on the principle of energy-pyramid which states that the at least 10 units of vegetation is consumed to prepare 1 unit of meat by feeding the meat-producing animals.
